Shoreline & Water HRD
Water seminars are three days long with one Head Instructor and two Assistant Instructors. With a very low instructor/student ratio, teams receive exceptional personal attention. These seminars are focused on individual training issues, making sure the dog has a solid foundation. We will focus on examining the skills needed for drowned person search. Training will involve both open water and shoreline search.
The components needed for a solid Water Search dog will include:
- Building A Foundation
- Training The Indication
- Reading Water & Air Movement
- Committing To Source
- Reading The Dog
These seminars are helpful for a dog team that is just starting training for water search, or for teams that want to advance their skill level.
